📋 Description

• Build relationships with policymakers, ministries, and school authorities, particularly at the state level • Represent sofatutor at conferences, trade fairs, public events, and committee meetings • Monitor regulatory developments • Develop strategic recommendations for the team and the organization • Directly sell school products to federal states, school authorities, and municipal education institutions • Negotiate product options and contract terms • Prepare position papers, briefings, and political communications materials • Work closely with the Director of Schools to help shape education policy in Germany

🎯 Requirements

• Substantial experience in public affairs, government relations, political communications, or a comparable field—ideally with a focus on the (digital) education sector • Knowledge of relevant education policy institutions and processes, including the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs (KMK), federal institutions, education ministries, and state education laws • Confident engagement with political decision-makers and public institutions, together with an understanding of the associated decision-making processes • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex topics concisely to different audiences • Enjoy networking and representing sofatutor through presentations and panel discussions • Willingness to travel within Germany to regularly represent sofatutor at trade fairs and other networking events (approximately once or twice per month) • Native-level German proficiency • Good English skills for internal communication
