📋 Description

• Update and upgrade outdated libraries, dependencies, and frameworks to keep the application stable and secure • Add and expand unit test coverage across the application • Test the system thoroughly to validate stability and functionality after upgrades • Identify and resolve issues introduced by dependency or framework changes • Collaborate with the client's engineering team to align on priorities and progress • Perform roughly equal backend and frontend work, with slightly more backend code in the application • Support end-of-life maintenance work for an application that must remain operational longer than anticipated

🎯 Requirements

• +90% English written and oral (B2 level minimum) • 4+ years of full-stack development experience • Strong backend experience with Kotlin and Gradle • Strong frontend experience with TypeScript and React • Experience with library/dependency upgrades and framework version migrations • Solid understanding of unit testing principles and experience writing and maintaining tests • Ability to work independently and ramp up quickly on an existing codebase • Experience working on EOL or legacy modernization projects (nice to have) • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (nice to have) • Experience working in small, agile teams (nice to have) • Applications accepted from LATAM countries
