• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline across discount card companies, cash‑pay pricing platforms, patient assistance organizations, eHealth companies, and specialty pharmacies. • Develop a go‑to‑market plan and drive new partnership opportunities. • Use your industry network to connect with decision‑makers at target companies. • Lead conversations about patient affordability solutions, benefit design, pricing, and related technology. • Understand customer needs and match them to the right solutions. • Work closely with product, tech, and operations teams to build proposals and win deals. • Keep up with the latest in PBMs, health plan benefits, discount card pricing, and patient affordability programs. • Bring back insights that help shape strategy and product development. • Lead contract discussions, pricing talks, and partnership terms. • Manage long and complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
• 8–12+ years of sales or business development experience in PBMs or health plans • Drug discount card or cash‑pay pricing platforms • Pharma hub or patient assistance services • Specialty pharmacy • Digital health or healthcare technology • Own the full sales lifecycle: prospecting, qualification, solution design, proposal, negotiation, and close • Consistently meet or exceed annual revenue and pipeline targets • Drive new logo acquisition and expansion within existing accounts • Existing relationships or strong familiarity with senior leaders across affordability ecosystem. • Proven ability to close large, complex deals. • Strong communication skills and comfort presenting to executives. • Ability to manage long sales cycles and navigate complex organizations. • Basic understanding of Pharmacy claims and NCPDP standards • Copay, voucher, and discount card workflows • Eligibility, pricing, and benefit coordination • API integrations and tech-enabled healthcare platforms.
