📋 Description

• Develop and maintain Java applications and microservices using Spring Boot • Work with legacy systems, including Struts, Servlets, JSP, and PrimeFaces • Implement Docker containers and orchestration with Kubernetes • Develop data streaming solutions using Kafka and Kafka Streams • Ensure code quality by following best practices and conducting testing • Collaborate with cross-functional QA, DevOps, and Product Owner teams • Document processes and architectural decisions • Monitor and troubleshoot issues in production environments • Stay up to date with new technologies and industry trends

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field • Experience in software engineering, with relevant experience in Java and/or JVM-based languages • Experience developing and operating systems using Java, microservices, and APIs • Knowledge of service containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, including AKS, EKS, GKE, and OpenShift • Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices, including Nexus, SonarQube, GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, GitHub, and StarTeam • Knowledge of continuous integration, automated deployment, unit testing, TDD, BDD, and Agile Scrum methodology • Knowledge of private and public cloud environments, including Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform • Focus on quality and best practices, with a commitment to readable, well-tested, and maintainable code • Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, WebSphere, JBoss, Kafka, Kafka Streams, SQL Server, and Kubernetes
