📋 Description

• Maintain and update data protection, security, and privacy policies and procedures • Ensure effective consent management • Assist with data deletion requests and DSARs • Respond to privacy-related queries with timely, pragmatic advice • Review and draft data protection contractual terms, including DPAs and DTAs • Support onboarding of new technologies and vendors • Maintain Records of Processing Activities (ROPA) • Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) • Perform Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIAs) • Support GDPR and privacy-by-design compliance • Monitor emerging data protection legislation • Oversee data processing registrations across jurisdictions • Deliver or oversee GDPR training for new starters and business teams • Support ISO 27001, ISO 27701, GDPR, UK GDPR, and other privacy certifications

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of practical experience applying data protection and privacy legislation, including GDPR and UK GDPR • Experience ideally within global technology companies • IAPP CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, or equivalent certification desirable • General understanding of technology and security issues impacting privacy projects and programs • Awareness of ongoing and recent developments across the privacy landscape • Experience handling cross-border data privacy matters and implementing local regulatory requirements • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong problem-solving abilities • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and navigate ambiguity • Genuine interest in the privacy field
