📋 Description

• Design and develop scalable backend applications and services using Python • Design system architectures integrating multiple internal and third-party systems • Decompose complex business problems into well-defined services with clear ownership and boundaries • Design and build REST APIs and backend services • Design robust domain models, reusable components, and maintainable software abstractions • Build reliable data ingestion and transformation pipelines • Design integration patterns with error handling, retries, and data consistency • Develop cloud-native applications using AWS services • Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions • Troubleshoot production issues across application and cloud infrastructure layers • Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews • Mentor engineers and promote software design and engineering best practices • Collaborate with Product, Data, AI, and Engineering teams • Adhere to company policies and procedures • Meet or exceed performance targets for related KPIs • Continuously improve knowledge through training and learning initiatives • Collaborate with other departments as needed • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers and colleagues • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of professional software engineering experience • Strong experience developing backend applications using Python • Strong understanding of software architecture and distributed system design • Experience designing scalable systems with well-defined service boundaries • Experience designing domain models for complex business processes • Experience integrating multiple APIs and third-party systems • Experience designing and building REST APIs • Strong understanding of integration architecture, data contracts, synchronization strategies, retries, and fault tolerance • Experience building or supporting data ingestion and transformation pipelines • Understanding of data modeling and mapping concepts • Experience with AWS cloud services, ideally including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and CloudWatch • Experience designing event-driven or asynchronous processing workflows • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to technical direction • Ability to work the 7pm–4am MNL, Monday–Friday schedule
