📋 Description

• Support testing of application development projects, infrastructure changes, maintenance windows, and other QA activities under the direction of the Manager of Quality Assurance Engineering • Design and execute manual and automated test plans for online applications • Record and document test results and compare them with expected results • Perform risk-based analysis and develop test strategies to minimize functional and regression bugs • Document test plans and testing strategies • Develop, document, and maintain reusable test cases • Test new and regression features across multiple test environments • Execute manual test cases and project-specific automated scripts • Automate UI tests using the Selenium framework • Review Selenium automated test results, troubleshoot failures, identify causes, and fix failures • Collaborate with Product, Development, and Quality Engineering teams • Participate in a SAFe Agile Scrum team • Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution • Use browser developer tools and application logs to troubleshoot and understand bugs • Review user interfaces for conformity and functionality

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience working with Software Development Teams, including experience developing test plans and/or test matrices • Bachelor’s in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience • Familiarity with web-based, API, mobile, or multi-platform testing • Ability to design and execute manual and automated test plans • Ability to understand implementation impact and perform risk-based analysis • Ability to develop, document, and maintain clear, reusable test cases • Experience executing manual test cases and automated scripts • Understanding of the test automation pyramid and automation strategy selection • Experience automating UI tests with Selenium WebDriver using the page object model design pattern • Ability to review Selenium test results, troubleshoot failures, identify root causes, and fix failures • Ability to read and understand documented requirements for complex features • Ability to understand the scope of platform changes in a complex SaaS platform • Ability to implement application designs and create queries, scripts, web pages, and other deliverables • Ability to read and understand API requests and responses • Familiarity with functional, regression, and smoke testing, including positive and negative scenarios • Familiarity with browser developer tools and application logs • Experience with SQL and JIRA • Experience working with Jenkins • Experience with GitLab • Experience with Playwright preferred • Experience with REST Assured preferred • Experience with accessibility testing preferred • Clear and concise technical communication in English, verbally and in writing • Ability to work collaboratively and independently • Ability to work with people across different time zones and adjust to occasional calls outside regular work hours • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
