📋 Description

• Development and implementation of scalable, secure system architectures • Provisioning and maintenance of the physical infrastructure (underlay) for operating OpenStack components • Design and implementation of automation frameworks for bare-metal operations, including release management and CI/CD pipelines • Operation, monitoring and continuous performance optimization of complex infrastructures • Independent incident management, including root-cause analysis, performance tuning and 3rd-level support for critical internal systems • Management of small projects and technical consulting for internal stakeholders • Ensuring system reliability through proactive lifecycle management and integration of common IT security standards (hardening)

🎯 Requirements

• Relevant professional experience in system engineering or administration of large, complex IT infrastructures • Completed IT training or an equivalent qualification • Deep expertise in operating Linux distributions (preferably Debian) • Understanding of virtualization technologies and network services (e.g., DNS) • Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python) • Practical experience with modern CI/CD workflows (GitLab), GitOps, monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus) and ideally relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) • Basic understanding of IT security standards and compliance (ISO 27001, BSI, C5) • Very good command of English
