📋 Description

• Perform reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement accounts, comparing accounting records with supporting reports, documents, and controls • Analyze account balances, identify discrepancies and outstanding items, and follow up on their resolution with the relevant departments • Prepare, review, and post accounting entries in SAP, including provisions, accruals, reclassifications, adjustments, and reversals • Assess the classification and integrity of accounting entries, verifying general ledger accounts, cost centers, accounting periods, and supporting documentation • Perform the month-end closing of revenue and expense operations under their responsibility, following the accrual basis of accounting and applicable recognition criteria • Participate in monthly closings and year-end closing by preparing analyses, reconciliations, and adjustments according to the established schedule • Analyze balance and transaction variances, identify inconsistencies, and provide explanations for significant fluctuations • Prepare and keep calculation schedules, account breakdowns, and supporting evidence up to date to ensure information traceability • Support internal and external audits by providing documents and explanations regarding the operations under their responsibility • Contribute to improvements in accounting processes, controls, and tools

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting • Practical experience in corporate accounting, including reconciliations, account analysis, journal entries, and accounting close processes • Hands-on experience using SAP to review general ledger accounts and balances, extract reports, and post accounting entries • Strong knowledge of accounting processes, the accrual basis of accounting, monthly close routines, and year-end closing procedures • Knowledge of Brazilian accounting standards and applicable CPC pronouncements • Ability to interpret trial balances, general ledgers, and supporting reports, linking transactions to their balance sheet and income statement effects • Advanced Excel skills applied to data analysis and reconciliation, including pivot tables, lookup formulas, and cross-referencing information • Familiarity with accounting tools, close controls, and the organization of supporting documentation • Experience in service companies • Knowledge of SAP's Financial Accounting (FI) module and its integrations • Experience supporting audits
