📋 Description

• Own queries and data logic for monthly close, tax, reserve/provisioning, transaction, and cash-rollforward reporting across all markets • Deliver external audit support, including loan-level listings, cash rollforwards, subsequent collections, guarantee asset/liability reports, and auditor requests • Ensure end-to-end traceability and audit-ready documentation for reports • Document inherited reporting logic, maintain version-controlled queries in Git, and establish clear data lineage • Partner with Analytics Engineering to migrate reporting from Business_DB to Presentation Layer/dbt with testing and version control • Maintain the accounting master report list as a single source of truth • Own reconciliation logic for loan-level, cash-rollforward, and partner/channeling reconciliations • Handle multi-entity, multi-market regulatory variation and fast-turnaround reporting such as India RBI reporting • Stabilize and document the reporting estate, support the 2026 external audit cycle, and move Finance reporting toward self-serve

🎯 Requirements

• 4–6 years in data/analytics roles with substantial financial or accounting reporting experience • Expert SQL • Fluency with Snowflake or an equivalent cloud data warehouse • Ability to read, refactor, and document inherited queries and stored procedures • Direct experience working with external auditors; Big-4 statutory audit experience preferred • Experience documenting business processes, reporting logic, and functional requirements • Experience producing month-end close, tax, and regulatory reporting, ideally across multiple markets/entities • Intermediate Python • Mindset focused on standardization, scalability, continuous process improvement, reduced manual work, and reliable Finance operations
