📋 Description

• Partner with leaders to drive people initiatives aligned with business objectives and build an inclusive, values-driven culture • Lead culture, employee engagement, change management, and strategic People & Culture initiatives • Provide advice, coaching, and support across the full employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance, development, and off-boarding • Manage complex employee relations matters including misconduct, grievances, investigations, performance management, and compliance • Identify and develop high-potential employees and succession plans • Collaborate on talent acquisition strategies and onboarding experiences • Monitor induction programs, probation reviews, compliance training, certifications, and performance review cycles • Manage employment contracts, letters, employee packs, correspondence, inductions, and employee movements • Establish performance management frameworks and employee engagement programs • Ensure remuneration and contracts comply with award requirements; advise payroll on award changes • Audit award classifications and salaries and review compensation policies for equity • Provide contemporary employment relations advice on Awards, Fair Work, and NES compliance • Track employee relations trends and metrics and report findings to the P&C Manager • Identify capability gaps and design, deliver, and roll out learning and leadership development programs • Lead or contribute to HR projects including policy development, system implementation, and process improvements • Maintain and troubleshoot the HRIS and maintain HR records, files, registers, databases, forms, and templates • Process flexible working arrangements and manage HR enquiries and information requests • Generate HR reports, compliance and government reporting, workforce metrics, dashboards, and presentations • Analyse turnover, engagement, absenteeism, Employee Net Promoter Scores, and pulse survey outcomes to provide data-driven recommendations • Provide administrative support to the People and Culture Manager, including travel arrangements and meeting coordination • Ensure activities comply with government regulations, company policies, standards, ethics, and QHSE requirements • Encourage a safe and environmentally conscious workplace and improve work practices

🎯 Requirements

• 4-5 years’ experience in People & Culture / HR Business Partner Role • Sound knowledge of the National Employment Standards, Modern Awards, and Fair Work frameworks • Solid Employee Relations experience and knowledge • Ability to influence senior stakeholders while remaining close to the detail • Strong administration, verbal, and written communication skills with excellent attention to detail • Strong organisational and time management skills, including managing competing and/or changing priorities and deadlines • Demonstrated success leading strategic initiatives from design through to implementation • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion required in an HR function • Demonstrated drive and initiative with a proactive approach • Good research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and preferably Visio • Experience using HRIS platforms and online systems • Tertiary qualification in a Business-related field or Human Resource Management is highly desirable, or working towards qualification
