📋 Description

• Lead or perform engineering activities • Review customer project documentation and define SCADA Design Requirements • Provide technical oversight from project kickoff through customer handover • Manage internal and external resources to meet project milestones and deliverables • Support engineering services proposal reviews • Collaborate with developers, owner’s representatives, utilities, EPCs, vendors, and internal product, project, design, and commissioning teams • Contribute to monitoring and control system designs for utility-scale renewable energy projects • Architect and develop System Architecture Diagrams, Device Points Lists, IP lists, Logic Diagrams, and HMI mockups • Generate design, development, and commissioning documentation • Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to less experienced engineers and team members • Support the internal knowledge base and documentation • Support Factory Acceptance Testing of SCADA systems and related components • Support commissioning and System Acceptance Testing of SCADA systems and related components

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Technology, or related field • Ability to effectively communicate with team members and business partners • 3+ years of SCADA development, specifically for solar (PV) and Battery (BESS) installations • Ignition experience is a plus • Working knowledge of a programming language • Experience with communications architectural design • Working knowledge of industrial protocols such as Modbus TCP/IP, DNP3, OPC-UA, IEC 61850, and ICCP • Working knowledge of communications and network design principles • Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously • Participation in or leadership of continuous improvement/lessons learned programs • Experience dealing with customers • Ability to travel occasionally, up to 15%
