📋 Description

• Design, maintain, and update training content and resources • Support counselors across Trevor’s crisis services programs with industry best practices • Coordinate, facilitate, and support year-round training for a high volume of trainees • Facilitate workshops, role-plays, shadow sessions, and related trainee activities • Support day-to-day training team operations • Identify professional development and continuous learning opportunities for counselors • Respond to written inquiries in a timely manner • Maintain accurate trainee progress and performance data across multiple platforms • Communicate with team members and leadership to identify training needs and improvement opportunities • Participate in at least one 4-hour direct service shift per month as a crisis counselor • Collaborate across teams to align training programs with organizational goals • Evaluate training programs, analyze training data, and continuously improve programs • Assist with special projects, administrative tasks, and reports • Contribute to The Trevor Project’s mission of suicide prevention and crisis intervention for LGBTQ+ young people

🎯 Requirements

• 3 years of relevant experience designing and facilitating training or educational programs • Proficiency in computer tools and online training platforms (LMS & MOOCs) • Ability to create effective training materials, manuals, and visual resources using Articulate, Adobe Captivate, iSpring, and Canva • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams • Empathy and sensitivity to address issues related to trauma and consent • Commitment to confidentiality and ethical handling of confidential information • Experience in team management or leadership • Experience handling crisis situations or providing emotional support • Sensitivity to issues and challenges faced by LGBTQ+ youth in crisis • Experience measuring the impact of training programs and collecting data for continuous improvement
