📋 Description

• Manage workers' compensation claims from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate processing. • Provide support and guidance to injured employees, ensuring they receive the necessary medical treatment and support. • Coordinate with medical providers to ensure appropriate care and treatment for injured employees. • Work closely with our HR team to ensure compliance with all workers' compensation laws and regulations. • Maintain accurate records of all workers' compensation claims and related documentation. • Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. • Collaborate with our marketing team to enhance our brand through positive employee experiences and testimonials.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance related field, Human Resources, related discipline from an accredited 4-year university or a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in multi-jurisdictional workers compensation. • In-depth knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations. • Able to develop strong working relationships, facilitate change processes, and effectively communicate to achieve organizational goals. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. • Work closely with adjustors to verify all new and established WC injuries/claims per protocol. • Prepare claims and documentation for filing. • Point of contact for all adjusters and case managers. • Maintains knowledge of new and existing regulations for your region which could affect claims handling procedures. • Provide coverage in the absence of staff. • Prepare and provide solutions for outstanding claims during quarterly claims review. • Maintain up to date recordkeeping for year end reporting such as OSHA 300 logs. • All other duties as assigned • Must be proficient in MS Office including MS Word, Excel & Outlook; Google Suite or other software including running ad hoc reports/queries. • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
