📋 Description

• Ensure international trade operations comply with complex regulatory requirements • Drive trade compliance excellence through policy implementation, transaction monitoring, and process improvements • Manage day-to-day import/export activities, including classification, screening, licensing, and documentation • Provide guidance to internal teams on trade compliance matters • Review complex regulations, resolve compliance issues, and identify process improvements • Maintain accurate records, conduct audits, and generate compliance metrics • Build productive relationships with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders • Facilitate global trade while ensuring regulatory compliance and managing risk

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced Degree with no prior experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of experience in trade compliance, customs operations or related field • Expert knowledge of import/export regulations, customs procedures and trade agreements • Strong understanding of product classification (HTS, ECCN) and licensing requirements • Proficiency with trade compliance systems and Microsoft Office suite • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and global trade management software • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines • Experience conducting compliance audits and implementing corrective actions • Knowledge of regulatory agencies and ability to manage government relationships • Willingness to travel up to 10-15% as needed
