📋 Description

• Serve as the primary contact between the sponsor and the organization at the project level • Ensure internal and external escalation pathways are followed • Define responsibilities and communication pathways for secondary project leads when required • Own overall cross-functional project delivery for time, cost, and quality • Ensure financial stewardship, resource alignment to budget, out-of-scope activity management, Con Mod negotiations, and timeline execution • Establish, communicate, and manage customer expectations • Drive project-level risk identification and issue resolution • Ensure project team compliance with organizational policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP, regulatory, and project-specific requirements • Support and review study budget planning and management • Communicate study status, cost, and issues to COM and COPL • Serve as escalation point for vendors managed by Strategic Partners and/or other CROs • Oversee Strategic Partner/CRO/vendor selection, budget and contract negotiation, performance supervision, and escalation of issues to governance committees

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification • 8+ years of previous comparable experience • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience as a Global Lead Project Manager in the conduct of clinical trials • Several years of demonstrated experience in end-to-end vendor management and oversight across a broad range of vendor types • Vendor management experience • Experience supporting/reviewing study budget planning and management • Experience with external spend related to study execution • Experience working with COM, COPL, Global Program Management, and Finance • Experience communicating study status, cost, and issues • Experience overseeing Strategic Partners/CRO/vendor selection, budget and contract negotiation, and performance supervision • Technical and systems competency, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and organization systems • Ability to delegate and effectively prioritize workload in a frequently changing environment • Effective oral and written communication and presentation skills • Proactive, solutions-oriented, and adaptable to changing priorities and situations • Advanced therapeutic area knowledge and clinical development guidelines and directives • Strong understanding of project management principles, including time, quality, cost, and financial acumen • Interpersonal and customer service skills, including leading, motivating, and coordinating cross-functional project teams • Good judgment, decision-making, critical, analytical, and strategic thinking skills • Ability to negotiate, persuade, and influence others, including cross-cultural awareness
