• Compile data from multiple sources to generate payments to investigative sites according to procedural documents and site contracts • Ensure adherence to country-specific regulations affecting payment ability • Manage payment responsibilities and workflows to meet contracted timelines and project deliverables • Build and manage relationships with study sites and occasionally interface with clients on payment-specific issues • Respond to study-related escalations and resolve payment-related findings • Escalate project risks appropriately • Train study teams on site payment processes, requirements, and deliverables • Process investigator payments in middleware and financial systems when required • Manage refunds, credit notes, late payment fees, pre-payments, and investigator meeting reimbursements when required • Build and enter budgets and SVTs • Work on transparency reporting • Perform study reconciliations • Manage and maintain investigator funds trackers for transitioned studies
• High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification / Bachelor's degree preferred • Technical positions may require a certificate • Previous experience providing the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job, comparable to at least 2 years • Equivalency through a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience may be sufficient • Solid organizational skills and strong attention to detail • Ability to handle multiple timeline-sensitive tasks efficiently and effectively • Flexibility to reprioritize workload according to changing project needs • Proficient in MS Word and Excel; preferred experience using CTMS, EDC, or financial systems • Ability to work independently and as a team member • Solid communication skills, including English language (oral and written); other languages advantageous where applicable • Ability to extract information from study documentation and perform applicable data entry • Familiarity with ICH Good Clinical Practices, country regulatory and/or applicable tax regulations • Ability to analyze project-specific data/systems for accuracy and efficiency • Occasional long, varied hours • Rare travel and rotating shifts
