• Build, own, and grow a national pipeline of hospital, IDN, and GPO prospects through cold outreach, referrals, and healthcare database research • Conduct initial qualification conversations with hospital administrators, C-suite leaders, and clinical decision-makers to identify fit and interest • Schedule and support discovery calls and introductory meetings with WCA's senior executive team, ensuring a seamless and informed handoff • Maintain accurate CRM records and contribute to pipeline reporting and forecasting • Collaborate with Marketing on outreach campaigns and contribute to messaging that resonates with hospital leadership • Stay sharp on CMS regulatory trends, hospital outpatient program economics, and the competitive landscape to inform your outreach strategy • Represent WCA at healthcare conferences and industry events as needed
• 3+ years of experience in healthcare business development, hospital sales, or lead generation • Knowledge of hospital outpatient programs, wound care, or specialty service lines • Experience engaging with hospital administrators, C-suite contacts, and clinical leadership • Proven ability to qualify opportunities and execute clean, informed handoffs to senior sales leadership • Relationship-driven with a strategic mindset and a true hunter mentality • Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders at all levels • Proficient with CRM systems and familiar with healthcare sales processes • Self-starter who thrives independently in a fast-paced environment
