• Work closely with Engineering Leaders to scope roles, understand team needs, and develop effective sourcing strategies • Manage the entire hiring process end-to-end, from initial outreach to final offer • Own engineering hiring across backend, frontend, DevOps, and data science • Qualify candidates credibly before looping in hiring managers, without needing requirements translated • Design and implement a systematic, data-driven recruitment process aligned with both individual role requirements and the company's long-term goals • Build, maintain, and continually expand a strong network of top-tier engineering talent for future hiring needs • Strengthen our employer brand and help position the company as a top employer for engineers • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience at every stage of the recruitment process • Leverage your experience to identify opportunities for process optimisation and introduce best practices across the hiring lifecycle
• A strong drive for excellence and a continuous improvement mindset • Proven in-house experience recruiting for engineering roles at a tech company, with full ownership of a technical hiring function • Breadth across engineering disciplines, backend, frontend, DevOps, and data science • The ability to assess technical candidate strength without running the technical assessment yourself • Technical literacy: you can understand how software is built and shipped, and engage engineering leaders as a peer • A track record of sourcing independently, building pipelines from scratch, and managing technical stakeholders • Measurable delivery across key hiring metrics: time-to-fill, time-to-hire, pipeline conversion, and offer acceptance • Excellent interpersonal, consultative, and communication skills • Excellent writing skills • Strong time management and organisational abilities • Fluency in English
