📋 Description

• Lead aspects of the accounting function within the client • Provide Shared Services to Brands across the network • Perform management reporting functions • Own month-end and year-end close processes for assigned entities • Ensure timely, accurate, and GAAP-compliant financial reporting • Review and approve journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, recurring close entries, and financial results • Oversee general ledger and balance sheet integrity across multiple legal entities • Manage fixed assets, accruals, cash and credit card reconciliations, amortization, depreciation, and key P&L drivers • Perform variance analysis and explain financial results to leadership • Lead intercompany accounting, reconciliations, settlements, and issue resolution across global entities • Develop and maintain short- and long-term cash forecasts • Partner with FP&A and Client Finance to align accounting data with forecasts and operational needs • Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff, typically with 2+ direct reports • Collaborate with FP&A, Client Finance, In-Brand Finance, and Shared Services teams • Maintain and strengthen internal controls and enforce accounting policies and procedures • Support internal and external audits, tax, and statutory reporting with timely, audit-ready data • Lead process improvement and automation initiatives • Support ad hoc and high-priority projects to improve efficiency, accuracy, scalability, and system utilization • Support network-wide reporting requirements and corporate deadlines

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting • 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience • Minimum of 2 years of experience directly managing an accounting team • Previous experience with Consolidations and Intercompany eliminations • Strong technical accounting skills • Deep knowledge of GAAP, FASB, and SEC accounting and disclosure requirements • Proficiency in researching accounting literature • Proven ability to reconcile accounts and perform thorough GL analysis • Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and Pivot Tables • Experience with large ERP and Accounting Software preferred, such as Maconomy, NetSuite, Intacct, SAP, or Oracle • CPA or equivalent preferred • Located in Latam • Fluent English level • Ability to set priorities, multitask, meet critical deadlines, and maintain strict attention to detail • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration
