📋 Description

• Own the full lifecycle of product features, from database schema design and backend implementation to frontend delivery and production monitoring • Design, build, and maintain scalable event-driven and distributed systems with strong reliability and data consistency guarantees • Develop and optimize complex PostgreSQL queries, migrations, and transactional workflows for high-performance financial operations • Build resilient third-party integrations using webhooks, queues, retry mechanisms, and reconciliation processes • Implement idempotency, dead-letter queues, outbox patterns, and fault-tolerant processing • Create responsive, high-quality user interfaces using React and Next.js • Contribute to architectural decisions and improve scalability, observability, and operational excellence • Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or similar platforms • Participate in code reviews, mentor engineers, and promote best practices for sensitive financial and transactional data • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering stakeholders • Implement and maintain observability and monitoring using Datadog or OpenTelemetry • Contribute to infrastructure automation and cloud resource management using Terraform or Pulumi • Align engineering practices with security, compliance, SOC2, and PCI-DSS requirements where applicable

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Engineer delivering production-ready applications end-to-end • Strong proficiency with TypeScript and Node.js • Advanced experience with React and Next.js • Deep expertise in PostgreSQL and database engineering, including raw SQL, query optimization, migrations, and performance analysis • Proven experience designing and maintaining event-driven and distributed systems • Understanding of idempotency keys, retry strategies, dead-letter queues, outbox patterns, and reconciliation processes • Experience building webhook-driven architectures and integrating third-party systems • Understanding of scalable system architecture, asynchronous processing, and fault-tolerant applications • Experience with financial, payments, billing, payroll, or ledgering systems • Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or similar agentic coding platforms • Systems-thinking mindset, problem-solving skills, and attention to edge cases and data integrity • Ability to work autonomously within high-impact engineering teams • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi • Familiarity with observability and monitoring platforms such as Datadog or OpenTelemetry • Experience in regulated or compliance-heavy environments, including SOC2 or PCI-DSS • Knowledge of property-based testing frameworks such as fast-check • Experience optimizing applications for scalability, reliability, and operational excellence • Prior experience mentoring engineers and participating in technical leadership initiatives • Experience working within fintech or high-transaction-volume platforms • Exposure to modern AI-enhanced engineering workflows and automation practices • Experience collaborating within autonomous, product-focused engineering teams • Passion for clean architecture, exceptional user experience, and high-quality software craftsmanship • Must be based in Latin America, as indicated by the required application question
