📋 Description

• Articulate objectives and extend the existing model of teacher learning • Research best practices in continuous teacher professional development, cascade loss, mindset change, coaching, and related areas • Gather participant feedback and improve training content • Partner with other organizations in the domain • Adapt to technology-based training solutions • Create and facilitate engaging learning experiences for teachers • Build facilitation capacity for master trainers and the internal Udhyam team • Work in sync with the curriculum team’s vision • Partner with curriculum members at various stages of teacher development • Collaborate with SCERT and Operations teams to align training design and implementation • Manage a small team to achieve the goals of the teacher training and development vertical • Identify core problems affecting training quality in large-scale government systems and design practical, context-sensitive, adaptable, scalable solutions

🎯 Requirements

• At least 10-12 years of work experience in teacher training at scale and curriculum design for public schools • Experience working with government stakeholders and teachers • Deep knowledge of effective teacher professional development models and experiential learning • Understanding of building teacher capacities at scale • Ability to research, analyse data, and articulate specific problems • Ability to observe and assess teachers’ needs • Skilled as a facilitator of small and large groups • Highly creative and entrepreneurial • Willingness to travel 5 to 10 days per month • Classroom experience is an added advantage, not a requirement
