📋 Description

• Lead and develop the Accounting team, fostering high performance, engagement and technical growth. • Ensure correct application of accounting standards (CPC / IFRS). • Ensure the quality, consistency and timeliness of accounting close processes. • Review and validate financial statements and accompanying notes. • Serve as the technical lead in dealings with auditors and regulatory authorities. • Support senior leadership with accounting analyses that have strategic impact (corporate transactions, reorganizations, new business initiatives). • Actively participate in continuous improvement, automation and process-efficiency projects. • Ensure governance, compliance and mitigation of accounting risks.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting. • Active CRC (Regional Accounting Council) registration/license. • Strong knowledge of IFRS / CPC. • Experience with large-scale ERP systems (preferably SAP). • Knowledge of internal controls and audit environments. • Solid experience in Corporate Accounting, preferably in medium-to-large companies. • Extensive experience with monthly, quarterly and annual accounting closes; preparation and review of Financial Statements (BR GAAP / IFRS). • Experience supporting internal and external audits. • Interface with areas such as Tax, Treasury, Internal Controls, FP&A, Legal and Business.
