📋 Description

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automated test frameworks spanning backend services and UI • Own and drive test strategy across services and features, aligning coverage with product goals • Work with engineering and product to shape features early and advocate for testability • Align the team on quality standards for the product • Participate in architecture and design discussions, contributing a testability and reliability perspective • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for fast, high-confidence feedback on every change • Conduct exploratory testing to identify usability issues, edge cases, and regressions • Move across multiple projects in a fast-moving startup environment while maintaining rigor

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in QA or software testing • 2+ years operating at a senior or staff level • Strong hands-on skills in at least one of Go, Python, or JavaScript for automation and tooling • Daily use of AI tools for reviewing pull requests and design documents, writing test plans, and automating test cases • Judgment to verify AI-generated output • Ability to independently identify and drive needed work • Proven ability to manage ambiguity and competing priorities in a fast-moving startup • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Deep understanding of CI/CD systems • Hands-on experience integrating automated test suites into pipelines such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins • Working knowledge of Kubernetes environments and distributed systems, or strong aptitude and willingness to learn quickly • Excellent analytical and debugging ability, particularly for backend and infrastructure-related issues • Experience testing in tenant cluster or Tenant Isolation environments is a bonus • Prior experience owning QA at a startup through rapid product growth is a bonus
