📋 Description

• Lead the Commercial Business Development of food safety certification and testing business. • Achieve double-digit Annual Growth with assigned customers across dedicated service lines and product/service suites. • Clearly articulate the vision, formulate effective sales strategies, determine sales objectives and set priorities. • Meet with regional and specialist accounts, establish and maintain relationships, and negotiate and close deals. • Grow service line penetration with customers across FoodChain ID's service offerings. • Include the right resources in presentations/discussions to ensure FCID is professionally represented. • Attend trade association meetings and actively participate with marketing and senior business leaders in strategic planning. • Monitor competitive sales and marketing activities, summarize and share findings, and modify strategies accordingly. • Provide Voice of the Client (VOC) feedback on market needs and company service delivery. • Present information to top management, customers, and key industry groups. • Diligently use SalesForce as the source of truth, capturing all deals to ensure correct and timely reporting.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business or a related field. • 3+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success in closing new business deals in the regional and specialist segment. • Proven history of closing deals $10k+. • Experience in selling Food Safety Certification and/or Testing services to the Food and Beverage industry. • Relevant experience in selling solutions to Food and Beverage. • Extensive CRM (e.g. SalesForce) experience required. • Strong understanding of sales processes, including lead generation, qualification, and closing. • Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks. • Excellent written and spoken English; outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong presentation and negotiation skills; demonstrated ability to close deals under time pressure. • Demonstrated attraction to a disciplined, data-driven sales approach and ability to identify decision-makers and customer pain points. • Willingness to include subject-matter experts in the sales process and to prepare diligently for meetings.
