📋 Description

• Act as the technical lead for developers, guiding and supporting the team in day-to-day activities • Design and promote best practices for software development using agile methodologies • Participate in refinement, impact analysis, and design of product backlog items • Contribute to Discovery sessions, providing insights on business hypotheses from a development and application-building perspective • Help define the product's technical direction, ensuring continuous evolution and development quality • Ensure clear communication between architecture definitions and software components • Ensure compliance with Porto's software development standards, including secure development and applicable regulations • Propose processes and tools that facilitate the squad's daily work • Promote adoption of estimates, technical definitions, gitflow, and technical debt mapping • Be responsible for code quality, adherence to acceptance criteria, maintenance, and continuous improvement • Follow directives from Architecture, Tech Leads, Information Security, and related Software Engineering disciplines • Ensure availability and performance of critical service systems • Technically lead the development team, fostering high performance and continuous learning • Balance innovation with the technical sustainability of systems • Stay up to date with trends and technologies and apply them strategically • Promote a culture of quality and best software engineering practices within the squad

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in a Technology-related field • Proven knowledge and experience in teams using agile methodologies and DevOps practices • Strong knowledge of Java, Python, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, Angular, and PL/SQL • Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, and GCP • Knowledge of software architecture, including SOLID principles, DDD, and development best practices • Knowledge of microservices architecture • Experience with containers and container orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes • Experience with programming languages relevant to understanding the underlying code of chatbots • Position also open to candidates with disabilities (People with Disabilities - PwD)
