📋 Description
• Oversee development of strategic market/product line business plans and marketing programs supporting sales in designated market segments • Identify volume and strategic customers and develop partnerships • Analyze market data to identify trends and opportunities • Develop strategic direction from market information and create market analysis presentations • Conduct make-versus-buy analysis from a partnership, merger, or acquisition perspective when needed • Find new opportunities in Greater China, including Taiwan, and the wider region • Drive new opportunities in core and adjacent markets • Identify new customer logos and accelerate new product adoption • Engage with new customers on new applications and developing technologies • Understand customers' technical needs and match them to VIAVI capabilities • Provide market intelligence to shape the R&D roadmap and ensure solutions meet future fiber-optics needs for the AI sector
🎯 Requirements
• 10+ years of experience in fiber optic test and measurement • Proven track record in a related technical field • Experience dealing with customers • Technical understanding of customers' needs and ability to match them to VIAVI capabilities • Comfortable in a customer-facing role • Self-motivated
