• Engage with prospects to qualify potential customers for our Account Executive team • Become conversant in the utility sector - specifically as it relates to DERs, DERMS, Demand Response, and decarbonization • Research and prospect Companies that meet Virtual Peaker’s ideal customer profile • Plan, execute, and iterate on multi-channel outbound campaigns • Engage and qualify inbound leads and outbound prospects • Effectively partner and work across the Customer Solutions and Marketing teams • Support Marketing events through outreach and attendance • Maintain complete and accurate records in the CRM and adjacent tools
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required • 2+ years of sales/business development experience preferred • Business to business communication and prospecting • Active listening skills • Research experience • Attention to detail, strong organizational, and prioritization skills • Coachability, accountability, and helpfulness • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite • Experience using and maintaining a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system • Basic understanding of Software as a Service (SaaS) • Commitment to grow a career in technology sales • Curiosity, creativity, and a thirst for knowledge • Consultative approach to relationship building
