📋 Description

• Draft and maintain employment agreements, amendments, HR letters, policies, templates, and other employee documentation • Monitor compliance with state-level employment requirements across U.S. jurisdictions • Administer state workers' compensation coverage, claims, and reporting • Coordinate U.S. and Canadian immigration matters, including documentation, applications, renewals, and deadlines • Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding for employees and contractors • Maintain employee records in BambooHR and other HR systems • Support benefits, leave programs, salary increases, bonuses, and other compensation processes • Serve as a first point of contact for employees and managers on HR matters, policies, employee relations, and workplace questions • Prepare offer letters and coordinate background checks and pre-employment requirements • Partner with IT and other teams to prepare new hires for their first day • Prepare HR reports and data for management decision-making • Coordinate HR communications and employee engagement initiatives • Provide backup support for payroll and benefits administration • Assist with HR projects and initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Five years of progressive, hands-on HR experience • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field, or a postgraduate certificate in Human Resources Management • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment legislation, and HR compliance requirements • Knowledge of U.S. state-level employment laws and compliance requirements, including state workers' compensation programs • Experience with work visas and immigration • Must have strong Spanish and English language skills • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills, with a high level of attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while providing responsive support to employees and managers
