📋 Description

• You will have overall responsibility for results and for the strategic development of the Machines & Equipment business field in line with the corporate strategy. • You will be responsible for its sustainable orientation. • The Machines & Equipment business field primarily comprises the areas of special machine engineering (e.g., the development and construction of our grinding and milling machines) and abrasive production. • You will consistently structure and develop the business field with a view to growth, profitability and international scalability. • Actively drive the expansion of international business. • Further develop the performance and service portfolio in line with market requirements and translate customer requirements into concrete, implementable services. • Take on the technical leadership of the international segment managers. • Manage the business field based on key performance indicators and be responsible for global budget planning and control, including investment decisions in line with strategic objectives. • Ensure optimal capacity utilization and a consistent market presence across all countries, and promote the exchange of best practices within the business field. • Foster a high-performing, motivated and internationally oriented organizational culture.

🎯 Requirements

• University degree, e.g., in business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable field. • Several years of international leadership and management experience, ideally with responsibility for results or P&L in the railway industry. • Strong entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to strategically develop a business field and scale it globally. • Experience in matrix organizations and in managing complex international structures. • Very good analytical skills and confidence in using key performance indicators for management purposes. • Strong communication skills in German and English (C1 level); other languages are an advantage. • Willingness to travel internationally and ability to communicate effectively in a global environment.
