📋 Description

• Lead the WBS Campus as the operational core of the Funded Continuing Education business unit • Drive the strategic and operational development of the WBS Campus as part of a three-person leadership team • Report directly to the Executive Board • Lead teams and managers across multiple locations • Strengthen collaboration and provide direction, motivation, and impact within virtual structures • Assume overall responsibility for IT, information technology, CAD, media, and the TECH division in Dresden • Communicate strategic decisions, future-oriented topics, and relevant developments across the organization as Campus spokesperson • Translate technological developments, digitalization, and AI into innovative educational offerings and effective solutions for day-to-day educational operations • Develop a technology and education portfolio together with Product Management and Education Strategy • Support innovations from initial concept through to scalable, standard operations • Actively shape change and transformation processes • Closely integrate the Dresden TECH division with educational innovation, campus development, and strategic corporate objectives

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of leadership and management experience at the intersection of education, IT, technology, and digitalization, including experience leading distributed teams • In-depth understanding of AI and generative AI, digital learning ecosystems, platform technologies, automation, and Learning Analytics • Excellent communication and networking skills • Demonstrated ability to successfully pilot technological innovations and transition them into scalable, economically viable standard operations • Good understanding of technical and digital occupations, current labor-market developments, and future skills and qualification requirements • Extensive experience managing change and transformation processes • Experience developing digital educational offerings, learning platforms, or technology-enabled learning environments • Knowledge of current trends in EdTech, digital transformation, the Future of Work, and educational innovation • Experience collaborating with innovation, product management, or strategy functions • Established network in technology, digitalization, education, or innovation • Knowledge of data-driven management approaches and experience building cross-location innovation and collaboration structures • Willingness to travel occasionally for in-person meetings in Berlin
