📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality, production-ready software as a senior contributor and technical anchor • Present and lead team design sessions, drive architectural decisions, and defend technical choices • Design, test, code, and instrument complex solutions independently • Mentor SDE I and SDE II engineers through technical challenges, code reviews, and career growth discussions • Analyze systems for bottlenecks and technical debt and implement performance and health improvements • Support production applications through advanced observability, incident response, and root cause analysis • Champion engineering standards including TDD, BDD, and Microservice/Vertical Slice Architectures • Leverage AI-powered development tools for code generation and refactoring • Help integrate AI/ML workflows into the software development lifecycle • Serve as a primary code reviewer for readable, maintainable, secure, and performant code • Become a subject matter expert and independently complete and proactively review work

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; OR demonstrable equivalent experience • At least 5 years of experience in software engineering • Ability to deliver complex software features from concept to production without supervision • Ability to articulate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Strong proficiency in Angular and/or React • Experience building and consuming REST APIs • Experience writing comprehensive unit tests and test suites • Strong understanding of software security principles and OWASP guidelines • Proficiency with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines • Experience with Agile development methodologies • Track record of delivering complex projects on schedule • Experience writing performant stored procedures and functions • Experience developing cloud-native applications and services • Expert proficiency in C# and Python • Deep understanding and application of OOP, SOLID, and design patterns • Aptitude for integrating AI/ML-driven development workflows into the SDLC • Experience with Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions • Knowledge of RESTful API design and Kafka/event-driven design • Experience with modern RDBMS such as MS SQL or Postgres and NoSQL databases • Experience with modern web UI frameworks and libraries such as Angular and React • Advanced querying with GraphQL • Nice-to-have or quickly learn: Helm, ArgoCD, Terraform, generative AI models, Agentic AI frameworks, and experience leading small initiatives or serving as a scrum master/team lead
