📋 Description

• Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including enterprise customer contracts, publisher and partner agreements, and vendor and procurement terms • Advise Product and Engineering on translating legal and regulatory requirements into product decisions • Turn the Legal function into a working showcase of a fully automated LegalTech department • Drive structured analysis of Legal processes to identify automation and AI opportunities and embed them into process redesign • Advise on company-wide AI initiatives from a Legal and regulatory perspective • Build templates, playbooks, escalation thresholds, and self-service guidance for the business • Collaborate with the wider team on regulatory requirements, product features, customer negotiations, and procurement negotiations • Report to the Chief Legal Officer

🎯 Requirements

• Fully qualified German lawyer (Volljurist:in) • First and Second State Examination, both with above-average results • At least two years of post-qualification experience in an international law firm and/or in-house • Experience with commercial contracts drafted and negotiated independently is ideal • Ability to own B2B and SaaS agreements end to end • Ability to negotiate with enterprise counterparties • Genuine interest in LegalTech and AI regulation, including the EU AI Act and professional-secrecy questions specific to legal practice • Pragmatic and self-directed approach • Excellent drafting skills in German and English
