📋 Description

• Act as the primary link between commercial, operational, and technical teams • Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria • Map and model current and future-state processes, data flows, and system interactions • Translate technical concepts, trade-offs, and constraints into business language • Facilitate stakeholder and engineering alignment and resolve ambiguity • Build and maintain product-team knowledge covering technologies, social trends, economic conditions, regulations, and digital payments • Lead technical, financial, commercial, economic, and social analysis using primary and secondary research • Own product-team metrics, reporting, and visualisations • Identify product and business opportunities and shape them into well-defined problems • Conduct discovery and gather qualitative and quantitative data to size opportunities and assess value, impact, and cost • Develop business cases and support pricing and commercial analysis for roadmap prioritisation • Identify operational challenges and work with product managers and engineers to define and execute solutions • Own analysis and requirements projects end-to-end • Support engineering delivery by clarifying requirements and validating outcomes • Incorporate scheme, regulatory, and payment-network requirements into analysis and recommendations • Partner with product, engineering, finance, and sales teams to improve products and services • Support sales teams with customer data-point analysis • Lead, coach, and develop the Business Analyst team within Product • Mentor analysts and foster curiosity, experimentation, and continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in a Business Analyst or comparable role • Ideally experience within financial services, payments, or digital business models • Ability to bridge business and technology and translate business needs into technical requirements • Academic qualifications in a relevant field are preferred, including Computing, Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related discipline • Understanding of technologies, payment methods, business models, and customer problems • Experience writing requirements, user stories, and functional specifications • Experience working alongside engineering teams • Hands-on experience with Looker, Tableau, SQL, and related data-reporting applications • Structured approach to technical and financial problems • Ability to take ownership of and run projects effectively • Strong communication and presentation skills • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels • Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds in a global environment • Desirable: experience leading or mentoring analysts • Desirable: familiarity with the APAC payments landscape and regional regulatory requirements • Desirable: understanding of software architectures, APIs, and cloud platforms • Desirable: experience with Miro or Draw.io for process mapping and modelling • Desirable: experience with agile product and engineering teams, experimentation, A/B testing, or pricing and commercial modelling • Must be located in the Philippines or be able to work legally there; sponsorship requirements are addressed in the application
