📋 Description

• Lead and scale an engineering organization responsible for enterprise integrations, clinical data platforms, and payer/provider interoperability • Drive adoption of AI-assisted development, agentic workflows, and automation across the software development lifecycle • Provide technical and delivery leadership for Epic Tapestry Utilization Management and Compass Rose Care Management integration programs • Partner with Deloitte, Wipro, Rackspace, Sagility, and other vendors to ensure delivery accountability • Lead architecture and delivery for clinical and healthcare data platforms using Databricks and Snowflake • Identify and scale AI use cases that compress delivery timelines, testing cycles, and operational costs • Partner with clinical, product, and compliance leaders to translate healthcare operations into scalable AI-enabled technical solutions • Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team • Represent engineering in executive- and board-level discussions on technology transformation, delivery risk, and AI strategy • Report to an Associate VP, Technology Solutions • Deliver against Epic UM and CM milestones, including December 2026 UM and April 2027 CM go-lives

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of engineering leadership experience • Experience leading AI-first or AI-assisted engineering transformation at team or organizational scale • Experience with Claude Code, Copilot, or comparable agentic/AI development platforms • Strong technical foundation in APIs, HL7, FHIR, and EDI/X12 • Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or equivalent modern cloud data platforms • Experience leading large-scale platform transformation in multi-vendor delivery environments • Executive-level communication skills translating technical delivery into business and clinical outcomes • Must reside in close proximity to one of the listed market locations • Home internet with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload • Ability to work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to protect PHI/HIPAA information • Preferred: payer or clinical operations experience, including UM, CM, HEDIS, STAR Ratings, or Value-Based Care • Preferred: healthcare technology experience • Preferred: Epic Tapestry and/or Compass Rose experience • Preferred: Medicare Advantage, commercial payer, or Value-Based Care experience • Preferred: Azure, AWS, or GCP certification or deep hands-on experience • Preferred: experience establishing or scaling an AI Center of Excellence, AI governance framework, or enterprise AI adoption program • Preferred: experience leading regulatory-driven transformation such as CMS interoperability mandates
