📋 Description

• Manage the development and execution of the Credit Risk Review Continuous Review program for assigned Consumer lines of business • Independently evaluate credit risk management processes, including risk identification/rating, underwriting, originations and portfolio management • Review credit quality and trends by portfolio, industry sector and/or product • Identify emerging risks and attend meetings with first- and second-line senior business leaders • Establish risk-based business plans and address variances to plan • Complete continuous review activities for assigned portfolios with limited supervision • Manage and participate in horizontal, targeted and other portfolio reviews • Present review activities and results to senior leaders and personnel • Prepare and disseminate quarterly and annual summaries, including annual credit-risk assessments • Challenge and advise business leaders on risk ratings, credit practices, policies, emerging risks, credit quality trends and business strategies • Publish concise reports summarizing review results, issues, observations and recommendations • Manage open issues, observations and recommendations and obtain appropriate management action plans • Assist with resolving matters requiring attention and issues assigned to Credit Risk Review • Perform quality assurance reviews and recommend process enhancements • Share findings and emerging risks with Internal Audit and other Risk functions • Participate in acquisition due diligence and special projects • Assist in recruiting qualified Credit Risk Review candidates

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field • Graduate degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance or Economics preferred • Minimum of 5–7 years of lending and/or credit-related experience • Sound leadership, interpersonal, analytical and verbal/written communication skills • Ability to exercise sound judgment when interfacing with senior leaders, regulators, external auditors, business personnel and peers • Solid project management and presentation skills • Ability to interpret data from various applications and database tools, draw high-level conclusions and determine required actions • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and related PC applications
