📋 Description

• Lead the CI/CD and DevOps platform team, setting priorities, assigning work, managing capacity, and ensuring services meet schedules and service levels • Plan and manage team work within the customer's Agile/SAFe cadence, including sprint and Program Increment planning • Manage staffing, onboarding, cross-training, and backup coverage • Serve as the primary customer delivery point of contact for CI/CD and DevOps platform services • Own delivery planning, scheduling, phase-gate readiness, risk management, and customer sign-off for transition from a prior DevOps platform provider • Drive a zero-disruption platform transition and report status, risks, and issues to leadership • Oversee daily operation of the CI/CD platform on AWS and Kubernetes, including controller administration, build-agent autoscaling, source-control integration, and availability • Lead development-team onboarding and enablement through documentation, training, office hours, and pipeline guidance • Define and enforce technology-stack baselines and pipeline usage standards • Coordinate artifact management, vulnerability scanning, test management, code quality, observability, and performance-testing services • Define and track service-level objectives, delivery metrics, build analytics, platform performance, and DORA measures • Lead retrospectives and continuous-improvement activities • Manage platform changes, releases, maintenance windows, stakeholder notifications, and go/no-go decisions • Coordinate incident response, communications, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, runbooks, and escalation paths • Support security authorization maintenance by tracking POA&M items and vulnerability remediation • Coordinate independent quality-assurance or security testing and remediation of findings • Collaborate with program leadership, architects, administrators, service desk leadership, customer stakeholders, development teams, and contractors • Participate in cross-team ceremonies, planning sessions, status reporting, integrated schedules, and governance forums • Maintain team documentation, delivery plans, and records in tools such as JIRA and Confluence • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience • 10+ years of information technology experience • 5+ years of DevOps, CI/CD, or platform engineering experience • 3+ years leading technical delivery teams • Demonstrated experience managing delivery of enterprise CI/CD platform services such as Jenkins/CloudBees CI supporting multiple development teams • Experience managing work in Agile/SAFe environments, including sprint and PI planning, backlog management, and delivery reporting • Experience leading or managing a platform transition or migration with minimal disruption to users, including phase-gate planning and risk management • Experience defining and reporting service level, operational, and delivery metrics to executive audiences • Working knowledge of DevSecOps practices and security compliance frameworks such as FISMA/NIST RMF, including security authorization support • Proven ability to lead and develop technical staff, manage competing priorities, and coordinate across multiple teams and contractors • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting delivery status, risks, and recommendations to customer leadership • Ability to obtain and maintain any required background investigation/clearance per customer requirements • Preferred: experience supporting federal, healthcare, or other regulated environments • Preferred: relevant certifications such as SAFe Agilist, SAFe Release Train Engineer, PMP, ITIL, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CloudBees, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator • Preferred: experience with AI governance for technology tooling and software license and vendor coordination • Strong working knowledge of Jenkins/CloudBees CI, Kubernetes, GitHub, JFrog Artifactory, JFrog Xray, TestRail, JIRA, Confluence, Grafana, Prometheus, SonarQube, Apache JMeter, AWS including EKS, Infrastructure as Code concepts such as Terraform, Agile/SAFe, ITIL-aligned change/release/incident management, DORA metrics, FISMA/NIST RMF, ATO processes, and POA&M management • Ability to obtain and maintain public trust background investigation/clearance per client requirements
