📋 Description

• Perform start-up, commissioning, and post-start-up field services primarily within the data center market • Lead on-site customer engagement as ABB’s primary representative • Plan and deliver service tasks aligned with customer orders, quality standards, and first-time-right execution • Evaluate installed equipment and customer processes to identify performance enhancements • Capture and relay upgrade, service, and modernization opportunities to internal account teams • Prepare job sites, support project teams, and oversee subcontractor activities • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues using certified tools and methods • Prepare material lists and verify the availability and quality of required parts and tools • Recommend and implement improvements to processes, products, and service delivery • Produce accurate reports, test records, and customer-signed documentation • Provide technical consulting, mentor colleagues, support certifications, and train customers • Execute work in Power Delivery, Medium & Low Voltage Electrification, and Control Systems • Uphold ABB’s safety culture, lead HSE practices, report hazards, and ensure proper PPE use

🎯 Requirements

• HS diploma/GED with 10+ years hands-on experience; OR associate/trade certification with 8+ years; OR bachelor’s with 5+ years; OR HS diploma/GED with 5+ years equivalent work or military experience servicing critical power equipment • Advanced theoretical experience across all aspects of electrical design • Strong knowledge of NEC, safety codes, regulations, and QA requirements • Excellent oral and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences • Proven ability to analyze issues, improve processes, and drive quality outcomes • Ability to work effectively with maintenance teams, engineering groups, and management stakeholders • Project management or supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to lead and influence customers and peers • Skilled in MS Office, Google Suite, and project/issue-tracking platforms such as BIM, Compass, CxAlloy, and Procore • Experience with Emerson RX3i/Proficy, ABB AC500/Automation Builder, CP600 HMI/Panelbuilder, Zenon/Cimplicity, Woodward Easygen/LSS, Wireshark, IED Scout, relay testing/configuration, and RTAC configuration preferred • Fluent in written and conversational English • Currently authorized to work and live in the United States • Ability and willingness to spend significant time traveling and working at customer sites nationwide
