📋 Description

• Develop and implement the global strategy for the mechanical category for the Analytical Business Line • Consolidate the global strategy and supply base with factories • Work across local, regional, and global teams to build a resilient, cost-optimized supply chain • Lead sourcing strategies using the CIPS process • Ensure the supply base has the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements • Negotiate agreements with key suppliers • Renew price lists and manage terms and conditions • Manage procurement planning, budgets, savings forecasts, and cost-out programs • Identify, investigate, and select suppliers based on quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability • Provide ongoing contract management and supplier oversight • Ensure relevant parties understand and execute the strategy • Achieve category sourcing performance targets

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in strategic sourcing and category management • Experience ideally within mechanical components, castings, forgings, or plastics • Track record of building and executing global strategies • Strong stakeholder management skills • Experience aligning factories, local teams, and global leadership • Solid negotiation and supplier relationship management experience • Data-driven approach to analysis and reporting • Ability to work collaboratively • Knowledge of supplier footprint, risk mitigation, and cost optimization • Ability to use the CIPS process • Experience managing procurement planning, budgets, savings forecasts, and cost-out programs
