📋 Description

• Plan and implement global sourcing initiatives under the leadership of a global division/business area Procurement Manager or independently under a defined threshold. • Ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. • Manage the planning and tracking of procurement activities, cost budgets, emerging country spending, and savings forecasts. • Support development and implementation of regional/global sourcing strategies aligned with the broader T&L Sourcing team and key stakeholders. • Negotiate and maintain supplier agreements, including price lists, terms & conditions, frame contracts, and local contract amendments. • Prepare RFQs for primarily over-the-road and express carriers. • Execute sourcing initiatives and benchmark studies to understand cost drivers. • Manage carrier and forwarder onboarding, evaluations, performance tracking, and reporting with T&L teams and businesses. • Initiate and manage purchase orders, confirm deliveries, monitor compliance, approve payments, and foster communication across internal and external stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of experience with business processes, supply chain, Trade and Logistics, and sourcing. • Experience in strategic and/or operational Logistics including sourcing within a regional or global SAP environment. • Strong negotiation skills with proven ability to manage supplier agreements, pricing, and contract terms. • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in a matrix organization. • Experience running benchmark studies, carrier/forwarder evaluations, and performance reporting. • Solid understanding of procurement processes, including PO creation, contract management, and compliance with standard procedures. • Ability to manage multiple sourcing initiatives simultaneously, within defined thresholds and timelines. • Strong communication skills in English. • Candidate located in the Eastern or Central time zone.
