📋 Description

• Manage field-based technical service needs for LDX and Afinion products in the Cardiometabolic Business Unit • Perform in-services and customized training for end-user customers • Make retention calls and establish relationships with end-user accounts • Troubleshoot assigned products with Technical Support and end users • Conduct customer-specific product evaluations • Support regulatory compliance and excellent laboratory practice • Develop working relationships with Account Executives, Sales staff and distribution partners • Identify upselling opportunities and coordinate demonstrations, training and sales activities • Identify and reactivate inactive accounts • Manage travel within the territory and control travel expenses • Submit accurate and timely expense reports • Maintain compliance by entering data into Salesforce.com and related databases • Attend company and professional meetings, conferences and webinars • Collaborate with providers and office staff to improve diabetes testing protocols, close care gaps, provide staff education and implement workflow improvements • Perform other assigned duties and projects

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA degree in Medical Technology or comparable discipline • 3-5 years of successful track record in a technical/medical consultant role • Strong understanding of laboratory practices • Strong knowledge of the physician office market • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills • Ability to obtain Vendor Credentialing certification by completing current immunizations, required training, background checks and competency assessments • Ability to travel at least 50%, averaging as much as 75%, occasionally with less than a week's notice • Ability to work occasional weekends • Ability to complete company-assigned Compliance and Product training courses by their due dates
