📋 Description

• Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with Oncology departments and practices • Increase education on product benefits and risks consistent with the approved label • Develop new business, improve resource utilization, and grow sales and market share • Understand and address customer needs and build relationships that provide market intelligence • Partner with in-house and cross-franchise leaders to design and adapt compliant programs and initiatives • Deliver on-label technical and scientific presentations using approved data • Serve as lead US Commercial contact with targeted accounts in the assigned geography • Collaborate with AbbVie and co-promotion counterparts to support physicians and patients • Build, implement, communicate, and update strategic and tactical business plans for targeted accounts • Facilitate physician and treatment-team training on approved and safe product use • Monitor and report sales progress and provide routine communications to partners • Act as AbbVie’s key point of contact for each account and coordinate customer support • Attend and participate in clinician boards, societies, and other healthcare professional meetings • Represent AbbVie and assigned products at local venues and communicate findings to internal stakeholders • Remain current on clinical, market, payer, oncology, and disease-area developments • Complete required training and comply with company policies and OEC/Legal procedures • Identify important information, articulate business implications, and transfer knowledge to internal partners • Maintain understanding of approved product labeling and disease-state knowledge • Use data, resources, and tools to identify sales opportunities and develop customer program strategies • Participate in relevant local-market organizational programs with Legal/OEC approval • Use selling resources and tools to support selling strategies and maximize impact

🎯 Requirements

• Business savvy and analytical ability to analyze diverse datasets using multiple tools • Ability to meet customer needs in complex environments through innovative strategies aligned with company and customer objectives • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to lead without direct authority • Experience developing teams on complex projects or challenges to achieve results • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Persistence and grit with a strong record of success in challenging environments • Ability to drive a personal auto, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment • Valid driver’s license • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe-driving requirements • Bachelor’s degree preferred • Oncology, specialty, or other pharmaceutical sales experience preferred • Account management experience in any industry preferred • Specialty pharmacy experience preferred • Healthcare industry experience, especially working with patients or consulting healthcare companies, preferred • People management or other leadership experience preferred • MBA or other advanced degree preferred • Must meet healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, which may include background checks, drug screens, and proof of immunization/vaccination
