📋 Description

• Execute AbbVie brand strategy and tactics in the field • Manage assigned territory and targeted accounts • Build customer relationships and solve customer needs to maximize sales performance • Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives • Create pre-call plans and conduct post-call evaluations • Handle objections and gain calls to action during sales calls • Build trusted customer relationships and achieve win-win agreements • Develop and execute call plans optimizing customer coverage and sales opportunities • Analyze customer needs, territory landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, disease, products, clinical information, and sales data • Share market intelligence with field, brand, and sales teams • Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with healthcare providers • Identify, develop, and maintain disease-state experts and speakers/advocates

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience required • Relevant and equivalent industry experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree: at least five (5) years of experience, with three (3) or more years within the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred • High school diploma/GED required when using the experience alternative • In-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge • Strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools • Strategic and critical thinking capabilities • Proven track record of success in selling and solid presentation skills • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment • Ability to identify customer behavior and adapt selling approaches • Documented success in leadership and support roles of increased responsibility • English language proficiency verbally and in writing • Must satisfy applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain them • Valid driver’s license • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements
