📋 Description

• Execute brand strategy and tactics in the field • Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives • Manage the assigned territory and targeted accounts • Build strong customer relationships and solve customer needs • Create pre-call plan objectives and execute post-call evaluations • Handle objections, misunderstandings, and concerns; gain calls to action and close sales calls • Serve customer needs and expectations to build trusted relationships and achieve win-win agreements • Develop and execute call plans optimizing coverage and frequency for key customers • Build understanding of customer needs, territory market landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, disease, products, clinical information, and sales practices • Share market intelligence with in-field, brand, and sales management teams • Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with assigned health care providers • Identify, develop, and maintain disease-state experts and speakers/advocates • Operate within AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, applicable laws, and regulations • Keep the patient at the center of efforts

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business-related field preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience required • Relevant and equivalent industry experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree: at least 5 years of experience, with 3 or more years within the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred • High school diploma/GED required when using experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree • Proven track record of leadership success • Solid presentation skills • Strong business acumen • Proficient use of business tools • Strategic and critical thinking capabilities • Ability to identify customer style/behavior and adapt selling approach • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment • English language proficiency verbally and in writing preferred for non-English-speaking countries • Must satisfy applicable health care industry representative credentialing requirements • Must be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain HCIR credentials • Ability to pass background checks, drug screens, and pre-employment drug screening • Proof of immunization/vaccination and fingerprinting may be required • Valid driver’s license • Must meet safe driving requirements
