📋 Description

• Own adoption across the full OpenCounter customer lifecycle, including launch, staff engagement, product updates, and renewal value • Launch new agencies with training, placement, and early follow-up • Re-engage recently launched agencies to deepen staff use, close training gaps, and prepare for renewal • Monitor mature accounts for renewal risk, usage signals, and opportunities to reinforce product value • Review new features and changes before production from agency staff and resident perspectives • Flag confusing user experiences, support-load risks, defects, and design concerns • Confirm new capabilities are explainable to agencies and identify required training or enablement materials • Provide feedback to engineering through its tracker and review cycle and support release weeks • Feed field observations and workflow abandonment into the product roadmap • Partner with Product Marketing on adoption and enablement materials • Tag agencies by launch cohort and log adoption and risk signals per account • Ensure Permit Guides are publicly findable and advertised through multiple channels • Train staff during the first 6–9 months, establish feature-adoption standards, track usage, and work with agencies to meet targets • Improve first-year retention and monitor at-risk account outcomes • Measure agency staff satisfaction after go-live training and during annual business reviews • Report to the Director of Product, OpenCounter

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience • 5+ years taking government or enterprise SaaS customers live and through adoption, in professional services, implementation, training, solution consulting, or customer success • Exceptional training and facilitation skills, including designing and delivering effective materials, engaging mixed agency audiences, assessing user application of learning, and building internal champions • Experience driving voluntary adoption of a product or process inside an organization • Experience working inside a city, county, or state agency • Experience launching a new product or module into an existing customer base • Subject matter knowledge of municipal permitting, planning, or licensing • Comfort using product and usage data to assess adoption, explain trends, and diagnose launch barriers • Ability to travel to customer sites; 10–20% travel required
