📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement web-based frontend applications in AWS cloud • Lead transformation of a traditional client into a modern, responsive web application • Integrate with backend meteorological data services • Maintain sophisticated visualization capabilities for weather forecasting operations • Lead frontend development using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries • Architect responsive interfaces for complex meteorological data visualization • Develop interactive mapping components and geospatial data rendering capabilities • Create high-performance visualization tools for radar, satellite imagery, and model data • Design and implement RESTful APIs and GraphQL services • Optimize applications across devices and network conditions • Collaborate with UX/UI designers • Implement automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing • Integrate AWS services including CloudFront, S3, API Gateway, and Lambda • Ensure accessibility compliance and cross-browser compatibility • Contribute to frontend CI/CD pipeline development • Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field • Background in scientific or technical application development • Familiarity with meteorological applications • Understanding of weather data formats and visualization requirements • Experience with containerization (Docker) and/or orchestration (Kubernetes) • Familiarity with AWS cloud services for web application hosting • Must have US work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship • Public Trust clearance level indicated
