📋 Description

• Complete day-to-day bookkeeping activities in Xero across accounts payable and accounts receivable • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in Xero and ensure bookkeeping information is entered correctly • Support account collections and follow up outstanding customer accounts as required • Communicate with customers primarily by email regarding accounts matters, with occasional phone communication where needed • Work closely with the local Finance Manager and wider finance team, escalating questions or discrepancies when required • Support the broader finance function with other Xero-based bookkeeping activities as assigned • Assist with relevant lodgement activities where capability and system access allow

🎯 Requirements

• Strong, hands-on Xero experience • Practical bookkeeping experience across both accounts payable and accounts receivable • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when handling financial information • Strong written English for customer and internal email communication • Clear, professional communication with internal stakeholders and customers • Ability to work effectively with a Finance Manager and other internal finance team members • Organised, dependable and comfortable managing ongoing bookkeeping responsibilities in a full-time role • Comfortable asking questions and escalating discrepancies rather than making assumptions • Takes ownership of work and understands the importance of minimising errors in an engine-room finance function
