📋 Description

• Plan, direct, and evaluate operations to ensure adequate and appropriate care and services • Comply with applicable laws and regulations • Maintain business conduct above legal and ethical minimum standards • Manage fiscal planning, budgeting, and operations within fiscal parameters • Implement governing body directives and develop and implement service policies • Recruit, employ, and retain qualified personnel to maintain appropriate staffing levels • Establish and maintain effective communication channels • Ensure program personnel have current clinical information and practices • Ensure a clinical manager is available during all operating hours • Direct and monitor organizational performance improvement activities • Ensure staff development through orientation, in-service education, continuing education, and evaluation • Ensure skilled nursing and therapeutic services are supervised and directed by a physician or non-physician provider • Assure appropriate staff supervision during all operating hours • Assure development and qualifications for professional services and assignment of personnel • Ensure accuracy of public information materials and activities • Appoint a similarly qualified alternate during the administrator’s absence • Inform the governing body and staff of organizational, community, and industry trends • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• A licensed physician, a registered nurse, or holds an undergraduate degree • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Master’s Degree in health care or related field is preferred • At least three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in health care management preferably in home health • Demonstrated an ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel • Ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with the community • Knowledge of corporate business management • Demonstrates good communications and public relations skills
