📋 Description

• Provide peer support to members through one-on-one and group sessions to foster community, build self-esteem, and support long-term recovery • Provide member case management support with accessing community resources and overcoming barriers to treatment • Perform telephone outreach to potential members referred by referral partners • Provide education on wellness and recovery skills while serving as a mentor and role model • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EMR • Work closely with the clinical team to deliver non-clinical support, individualized guidance, mentoring, and resources to members

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required • Active, Oregon OHA Peer Support Specialist certification required • Must live and work within the state of Oregon • Private, HIPAA-compliant workspace with reliable internet • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in maintaining documentation • At least 2 years of professional experience as a peer support specialist for people with substance use disorders is preferred
