📋 Description

• Break down larger projects into individual tasks, deliver them in multiple phases, and collaborate to ensure timely delivery • Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics during ideation and decision-making • Articulate technical constraints and help evaluate risks and trade-offs • Create and monitor metrics for team artifacts • Escalate issues and support operational availability, keep-the-lights-on, and on-call efforts • Participate in growth and development activities, including interviewing • Work on front-end-facing cross-team projects across mobile and web technologies • Collaborate with product experience teams across Affirm

🎯 Requirements

• 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer • Experience shipping web apps using declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue • Experience shipping mobile apps using native or cross-platform languages such as React Native • Experience designing, developing, and launching APIs at scale using languages such as Kotlin or Python • Ability to translate simple problems or business scenarios into solutions interacting with multiple software components • Ability to write clear, well-tested, extensible code • Comfort navigating large code bases, debugging others' code, and providing code review feedback • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field
